Puron, Carrier's WeatherMaker 38YXA is the technology of the future. As environmental
requirements change, the heating and cooling industry must phase out existing
refrigerants. Eventually, the supply of these existing refrigerants will be restricted,
making the units that use them substantially more expensive to service. That's why, since
1996, Carrier has been designing, building and perfecting new technology that uses Puron, a technologically
advanced refrigerant that meets the approval of the Environmental Protection Agency. In
